At the end of the installation make sure the “register Realterm automation server and aux wrapper” option is checked.

RealTerm Setup

NB: Before using RealTerm first connect the module to the PC and download/install the CH341SER driver here. More info can be found here

Connect to device

Under Port set the Baud to 115200 and Port to the a device serial. To update the new settings press the Change button or press the Open button so it gets unselected and then press it again.

If you are successfully connected you should see the outgoing device information in the upper panel.

To remove some of the text artifacts change the Ascii option under Display.

Sending information

To send information you can do so under Send and entering text or numbers into one of the two textboxes. To send text press the Send ASCII button.

To see the information you send go under Display and check the Half Duplex option.

Reset the device

To reset the device go under Pins and press the two Clear buttons under RTS and DTR. After that press Set under RTS.
