Wireless
When connecting device with wireless connection (WIFI), you need to have a MQTT server.
For connecting device with WIFI, download the ITT IoTConfiuration application.
- Power on IoT esp by USB cable
- Connect your phone to IoT esp wireless network
If IoT esp was configured before and connected to the server, then make sure when configuring again, that you need to leave the current WIFI range where the device was connected.
- Open IoTConfiuration application
- Wait few seconds
If device doesn't connect, make sure IoT-device WIFI is connected, or try closing and restarting the application.
Not connected:
Connected:
* Connect to your network
* Configure
* Add custom value if needed
* Press save and Restart esp
* Wait atleast 1 min for IoT esp connecting to the server
If IoT esp disables the configure mode WIFI then the device is successfully connected to the server. If not and the configure mode WIFI is still enabled, try:
- Make sure configure parameters where right (MQTT Server IP,MQTT login,Device name,etc)
- Make sure no spaces are between parameters
- Make sure device name is unique
- Try without adding a value
- Leave the wifi area and try again
